I have proposed to Curt that we hold a Circulations Special Project at Camp Caravan in Massachusetts early-August 2007. Requirements for those interested in attending:
For the less experienced: a working proficiency in C major through 3 octaves, and a regular sitting practice.
For the more experienced: proficiency in C major through 4 octaves & an established sitting practice.
In conventional GC speak, this translates as Level Two & above.
We know nothing about what is actually involved in circulations. What is the objective effect of playing the note C? We have no idea. We are not even competent in executing the scale.
At lunch, I recognized & acknowledged, with deep gratitude, the work of the Seattle GC & the Tuning The Air project.
Curt carried me away at 15.00 & dropped me in the U District for eye appointment & new reading specs.
Practising awaits, but dribbling is underway.
